About Ecobliss Packaging Group
Who we are
Ecobliss was founded in 1996 by Ron Linssen, who had developed a cold seal technology for blister packaging together with Professor G. Wouters. In the cold seal process no heat is needed, and the plastic and board components can be separated cleanly after opening. Read the full story on our history page.
How the group is organised
The group works through five specialists. Each has its own website and its own role:
- Ecobliss Pharmaceutical Packaging: where pharmaceutical companies buy packaging and contract packaging, from design to serialised pack.
- Locked4Kids: the brand for certified child-resistant and senior-friendly packaging, with its certifications, test results and awards. Packaging projects for pharmaceutical products run through Ecobliss Pharmaceutical Packaging.
- Ecobliss Retail Packaging: retail packaging produced in the Netherlands.
- Ecobliss Blistermachines: blister sealing machines for pharmaceutical and retail packaging.
- E-blister: the webshop for stock blisters, clamshells, clear boxes and sealing equipment.

Where we work
The group is based at Edisonweg 11, 6101 XJ Echt, the Netherlands. Around forty specialists in design, quality, pre-press, order management, warehousing and packaging inspection work there under one roof. The site runs on close to a thousand solar panels, uses no natural gas for heating, and production is CO2 neutral.
